How we worked out the room sizes. Depth: sofa depth + 16 inches to the coffee table + a 20-inch table + a 30-inch walkway. Width: sofa width + a 30-inch walkway past the open end. A 103-inch L-shape that is 65 inches deep therefore needs about 133 × 131 inches, or roughly 11 × 11 feet, before you add a TV unit or side tables.
