John Wild

John Wild is the reviewer behind ModularSofaGuide at TaoZeFlow Agency, the publisher of this site. He researches modular sofas, keeps the dimension database up to date and writes the buying guides and comparisons. “John Wild” is a pen name.

How he researches

• Manufacturer specs: dimensions, seat depth, weight capacity, materials and box counts are taken from each brand’s own product pages and dated.
• Owner reviews: recurring praise and complaints in published owner reviews are summarized, with the source and its limits noted.
• Policies: returns, warranty and shipping terms are read from the merchant’s published policy pages.
• Room fit: room-size recommendations are calculated from published footprints and standard clearances, and the method is shown on each page.

What he does not do

John does not test sofas in person, and the site does not claim he does. When a merchant does not publish a value, the site says “Not published” rather than guessing. ModularSofaGuide earns a commission on some purchases through its links; that never changes the specs or the order of the room-fit tables.
